Such heat

A suffocating, exhausting heat that binds to every cell in your body.
Don't drink because you sweat, don't eat because you sweat, don't smoke because you pass out....
"Well, man, don't complain! It's summer!!!"
But I live in Europe and where I live there is no sea!
What good is summer if you live in the middle of endless plains and if you have to work without ever being able to stop?
Will summer holidays ever be enough to cool off from all this?
In short, the ultimate question for me remains "how long until Christmas?".
