Talent shows and the unravelling of music

In a world centred on image, those who prevail over others are, very often, those who feel stronger and smarter, the egocentric narcissist who is prepared to take risks at any cost to achieve success.
Fewer and fewer are those who study, evolve and believe, those who do the hard work. the passionate ones. those who deserve it.
The music industry is now inflated and increasingly hungry for lucrative popularity and temporary fame;
The emergence and discovery of a new artist turns into a season-long championship, with a ranking up for grabs that the majors pass on each year.
Every season, at the end of any TV talent show, only very few young potential talents manage to emerge and 'break through' into the music world.
If, regardless of talent, the televote wins, the nobodies become somebody just long enough to line the pockets and satiate the mouths of those whose ears are full of money.
